A rare and highly decorative antique Chinese cloisonné tea set, likely dating from the late Qing dynasty to early Republic period (early 20th century). This exquisite set features vibrant imperial dragons — symbols of power and protection — hand-enameled over a deep black ground in traditional cloisonné technique.
- Teapot height: 15 cm / 5.9 in
- 6 cups: diameter 7 cm / 2.75 in
- 6 saucers: diameter 9 cm / 3.5 in
Each piece is lined with turquoise enamel inside and finished with intricate wirework and brilliant colors — showcasing the artistry and skill of traditional Chinese metalworkers. The dragons are lively, expressive, and richly symbolic.
Condition: Two cups show visible interior enamel loss (see photos), other pieces are in good antique condition with natural patina, minor imperfections and signs of age.
A stunning collector's set — perfect for oriental interior design, Asian art collectors, or as a luxurious display piece in your tea room or cabinet.
