An exceptional set of 4 antique Chinese woodblock prints featuring poetic scenes of scholars, immortals, musicians, and mythical creatures.
These panels date from the Republic period (circa 1920s–40s) and are printed on extremely fine, almost translucent paper. Originally sourced from a French art gallery, they are preserved behind glass in patinated wooden frames.
Each panel is unique and full of cultural symbolism. On request, I can ship the prints without frames.
