Beautiful pair of antique French faience oval serving platters, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century (circa 1790–1830).
Both pieces are decorated in delicate blue transferware with a central floral urn motif and geometric patterned border.
The scalloped edges add to their rustic country charm.
The larger platter shows an old metal staple repair — a testament to its long history and valued use in the past.
Rich patina, glaze crackle (craquelure), and signs of wear enhance their authentic antique character.
Perfect for collectors of early European ceramics or for adding a genuine “French country” touch to your home décor.
