This charming antique French platter features a dynamic blue hunting scene with galloping riders, baying hounds, and traditional foliage motifs. Executed in classic blue transferware, this oval faience dish dates from the mid to late 19th century (circa 1860–1890) and reflects the rural elegance of the French countryside.
Marked "IVORY" and "NC" on the reverse — typical of ironstone-style faience from French or Belgian factories of the period. The surface shows age-appropriate crazing and discoloration, adding character and authenticity.
Condition: Good antique condition – visible age-related crazing and some patina, no cracks or breaks.
A stunning decorative piece for wall display, French country interiors, or collectors of hunt-themed ceramics.
