This exquisite antique bisque porcelain sculpture features a graceful woman in flowing drapery riding a fantastical sleigh drawn by a swan. Rich in floral and organic motifs, the piece is a perfect embodiment of the Art Nouveau aesthetic, with delicate detailing and dynamic movement throughout the composition.
Crafted in fine unglazed white porcelain (biscuit), this piece is attributed to continental European origin, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. It bears an impressed mark "SB 2677" on the base. While some similarities exist with French Sèvres-style figures, expert appraisal suggests that this is not a Sèvres piece, but a high-quality Art Nouveau decorative object from another European manufacturer.
