A beautiful and rare antique English pedestal plate made by J.S.Hill Hill Pottery, Burslem, England. This charming piece dates from the late 19th century (circa 1870–1900). The plate features a hand-painted bird on a flowering branch in soft naturalistic colors, framed by a wide ochre border with delicate floral gilding and three ornamental pierced medallions. The raised foot gives it an elegant display presence, ideal as a centerpiece or decorative accent.
