This stunning large oval platter showcases the timeless elegance of the classic Blue Willow pattern — a romantic scene of pagodas, a willow tree, flying birds, and a bridge with figures, all framed in a rich cobalt transfer design.
Made in the famous pottery region of Staffordshire, England, this piece dates from the mid to late 19th century (circa 1850–1880) and is marked "Opaque China" beneath a royal arms crest — a hallmark widely used by Victorian-era Staffordshire potteries.
